Sangareddy

Sangareddy (Telugu: సంగారెడ్డి), earlier known as Sangareddypeta, is the district headquarters of Medak district in the state of Telangana in India. There 45 mandals in this district. Also, Sangareddy is Mandal HQ (mdl code-36).There are 29 villages in this mandal & the villages are:1 Irigipalle, 2 Kalabgoor, 3 Chintalpalle, 4 Nagapur, 5 Sangareddy, 6 Tadlapalle, 7 Kulabgoor, 8 Fasalwadi, 9 Ismailkhanpet, 10 Arutla, 11 Chidruppa, 12 Byathole, 13 Erdanoor, 14 Mamidipalle, 15 Koulampet, 16 Kandi, 17 Mohd. shapur, 18 Kalvakunta, 19 Pothreddipalle, 20 Kothlapur, 21 Utharpalle, 22 Maktha alloor, 23 Kalvemula, 24 Kasipur, 25 Cheriyal, 26 Indrakaran, 27 Eddumailaram, 28 Julkal, 29 Topgonda.
It is about 72 km from Medak and 55 km from Hyderabad and is located on Hyderabad-Mumbai Highway (NH9). Manjira Wildlife and Bird Sanctuary situated with an area of 20 square kilometres is nearby. This is the nearest district headquarters to the capital of the state Hyderabad. This is also the smallest in area of all the district headquarters in Andhra Pradesh. It has got its name by the ruler Sanga, who is the son of Rani Shankaramba, ruler of Medak during the period of Nizams.

    Sir, I am Bhasker, travelling from KPHB to Sangareddy daily up and down, I find very difficult to travel in TSRTC district bussed, which are very old model, and very much crowded every time, many of my colleagues work in BSNL and also other departments like Bank, State Govt, pvt, Companies are in thousands travel in these buses, and most of them prefer to take journey in own car/vehicle. This is due to lack of number of buses and also lack of luxury buses like Metro liner etc., I request Sangareddy depot manager/Hyderabad Depot manager to take a look about this and keeping in mind that thousands of people travel between HYD TO SGD every day, please provide Luxury buses or metro buses. Mainly in the morning and evening times. for which we shall be greatful to you sir.
